"We still discuss the impact your visit had on our children. You were able to relate to my son in a way that so few can. I hope you all come back again very soon." —Year 10 parent

Before today’s talk, I was set on working in the city, getting into finance, making as much money as possible, and equating that to happiness. But the session opened my eyes to a different way of thinking—showing me that success doesn’t necessarily require a university degree or a high-powered city job to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.

"Greatness Fest went really well, it was nice to talk to the students at Whitgift School. They're really inspirational and they inspired me a little bit as well. It's a good community to be in."

"I feel like it has been really beneficial for us...If we do more stuff with upthegreatness, people get a better idea of what they want to do. And also they can go to venture out more and see different careers that they may not have even considered in the first place."

Greatness Fest went brilliantly. Lots of opportunities for connections between the young professionals and students, staff and each other.

– Kate Goldberg, Assistant Head (Student Futures), Whitgift School

Greatness Fest was a great event to be a part of. I felt like I was a part of a new movement that the creator Oluwani is trying to develop and infiltrate into other Schools.

The people giving the speeches are well established within their role. Although, they are deemed young, they showed a great sense of knowledge and experience.

"It shows that you can pretty much do anything, not to narrow down your options when you're doing things in life. Be open-minded as possible. Also, do something that you love."  Kelvin, 16.

"It's making us more prepared for the future, allowing us to know what other people experience, and we can learn from their experience...It has expanded my vision on the future." Cyrus, 17.

I can’t thank the upthegreatness team enough for the sessions they delivered to our students as part of our ‘Future Focus’ day. The sessions were so engaging due to the down to earth nature of the facilitators that meant our students trusted them almost instantly and couldn’t wait to get involved. The sessions were inspiring for our children, it allowed them to understand what they are capable of and to connect their future goals to the skills and attributes they already have now. As a teacher, my favourite part of the session was when the students were asked if they believed they were great, to see so many of our students feel empowered to believe in themselves meant that for me the aim of the day was achieved. Thanks so much again!
